Named after the city in Wisconsin, the USS WAUWATOSA was one of the NATICK - class large harbor tugs and the first ship in the Navy to bear the name. Assigned to forward bases in the Pacific, the WAUWATOSA was stricken from the Navy list on February 16, 2002, and finally scrapped in 2005.
