One of the NATICK - class large harbor tugs, the AHOSKIE was the second ship in the Navy to bear the name. Serving at the Charleston Naval Station, SC., for her entire career, the AHOSKIE was stricken from the Navy list on October 10, 1995. On March 7, 1996, the tug was transfered to the City of Eastport, ME., Port Authority.
