USS TATTNALL was the 18th ship in the CHARLES F. ADAMS - class of guided missile destroyers and was homeported in Mayport, Fla.
USS TATTNALL was stricken from the Navy list on June 12, 1993, and was subsequently berthed at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility (NISMF), Philadelphia, PA, until sold to Brownsville International Shipbreaking Corp where she was scrapped.
